Wait a minute... what does an Admin Asst. do?

Has anyone else thought about the fact that I have NO IDEA what my job is tomorrow?  (Other than temporary?)  I have never worked for an organization where people had the title "Administrative Assistant."  What skills do I have that these people need?  These people have counseled COUNTRIES and I am going to do their power point presentations and make excel spreadsheets for them?
